Passengers on the LRT-2 can now pay fares using Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards, NFC-enabled mobile and wearable devices, and other digital payment options following the launch of the rail line’s cashless payment system on Monday.

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has directed the Department of Transportation (DOTr) to launch digital payment systems across rail lines for accessible and convenient transactions for passengers.
